Description: Business Developer – Service 

Our growing business requires a permanent Business Developer to help develop our Service Business:

  • Service Contract and Small Works Sales of:
    • Automatic Doors
    • Roller Shutters
    • Manual Doors

 

You will responsible for:

  • Identifying, introducing, negotiating and ultimately gaining sales of new business Service Contracts
  • Upselling existing Service Contracts with value added solutions
  • Identifying and following up Small Works opportunities
  • Identifying new/different routes to market and following up
  • Management of your own diary with an expectation of approx. 3-4 days/week field sales and 1-2 days in the office for admin and lead gathering
  • Accountability of a monthly forecast

 

You will have:

  • Previous client facing sales experience (1-2+ years)
  • Previous Service Sales experience (not necessarily in the same sector)
  • Demonstrable diary management skills
  • Sound commercial acumen
  • A technical mind with a natural attitude and aptitude to problem solving
  • The ability to communicate at all levels
  • Experience with site surveying
  • No fear in challenging others to help drive a better solution

We feel the role would suit an existing results driven Field Sales Developer. With a primary requirement for Business Development, we feel that the role is best suited to an individual with previous Service Sales experience (although not necessarily within the same industry (approx. 1-2 years).
