Local job: Air Ambulance shop, Canvey Island
27 January 2026
We recently received a service call right on our doorstep, and being so close to home we were able to act quickly.
The issue was with the main front entrance automatic doors at the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance charity shop on Canvey Island. The existing operator was old and no longer working, which was affecting daily access for customers and staff on this busy high street.
Our team attended site and found that the operator needed a full replacement. A new Record STA20 sliding door operator was installed along with new sensors, and fully commissioned.
To minimise disruption, all works were completed before the shop opened, so there was no impact on customers or trading. We are proud to support a local charity and help keep their doors open.
