Manual Doors

We can complete PPM Services to a frequency that you require, either by recommendation or by legal requirement.

When we maintain your Manual Door we:

  • Visually inspect doors movement and appearance for signs of wear
  • Check the tolerances of door within framework
  • Operate all locking components including keyed lock cylinders
  • Check fixings of closing equipment – top centres, drive arms etc
  • Check butt hinges for wear and lubricate where necessary
  • Check tensions and speeds of door leaf closing
  • Check bottom pivot for wear within call bearing assembly
  • Check wool pile and weathering is correctly applied
  • Check handle fixings and secure where necessary
  • Check lock keeps are allowing flush bolts to engage correctly
  • Visually check doors for general defects and corrosions
